The Upgraded Suit is a suit players may equip in Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man 2. In the first game, it was added for free in the 1.16 update, and does not possess an associated suit power.

In the sequel, it is instead unlocked at Level 41, and does not possess any suit styles due to being a movie suit.

Characteristics

The Upgraded Suit is partially based on the Stark Suit, though with some substantial changes.

The blue segments are replaced with black, and now cover much more of the arms and hands, resulting in a "fingerless glove" look. The web shooters have been replaced with a much smaller design, and the additional web cartridges are now entirely absent. The front spider emblem now has a white outline, and the back is completely white with a completely different design that more closely resembles the front.

Original appearance

The Upgraded Suit is based on the costume worn by Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Far From Home, directed by Jon Watts. It received a minor redesign in Spider-Man: No Way Home that is not reflected in either of its game appearances.

In Far From Home, Peter creates this suit to prepare for his final battle against Mysterio in London. While it is damaged during the fight, it is repaired off-screen, and Peter continues wearing it after his return to New York as his primary outfit.

In No Way Home, the Upgraded Suit is stained with green paint thrown by a Mysterio supporter, and Peter tries and fails to clean it himself. He briefly uses the Iron Spider Suit instead until it is damaged by the Raimiverse Doctor Octopus, forcing him to flip the Upgraded Suit inside-out and wear it as the Black and Gold Suit.

After successfully capturing the Raimiverse Sandman and Webbverse Electro, Aunt May properly cleans the Upgraded Suit, allowing Peter to wear it normally again. Later, Doctor Octopus returns the stolen nanites from the Iron Spider Suit as a sort of olive branch, turning the Upgraded Suit into the Hybrid Suit.
