Together But Alone is the fourth main mission in the "Silver Lining" downloadable content for Marvel's Spider-Man. Mary Jane Watson calls Spider-Man about Hammerhead thugs hitting an Oscorp shipping facility. He meets up with Silver Sable there, who also chases them.
Story[]
Mary Jane Watson points Spider-Man to the shipping facility, as Hammerhead is stealing weapons bound for Symkaria. Pointing out that, given Hammerhead men have stolen most Sable International weapons, a lot in police lockup, and is now stealing more bound for Symkaria, she questions where he is keeping it, and decides to look for Hammerhead bases. She also talks about the Symkaria civil war against its ruling dictator, and the fact that Silver Sable needs the weapons to fight the war.
As Spider-Man arrives, trucks loading up Project Olympus equipment leaves, and Spider-Man chases them down. Spider-Man tries to stop the truck to stop Sable from shooting and accidentally hurting someone, and stops more Hammerhead cars and stolen tanks on his own. When her jet is attacked by drones, he also latches on and web shoots them down. Sable does not thank him or respond.
Sable then shoots the final truck and holds a Hammerhead thug at gunpoint to make him talk, though he accepts his death as Hammerhead would kill him instead. Spider-Man stops her from killing him and encourages her to work with him, which she begrudingly agrees to while placing a tracker on his suit and leaving.
Walkthrough[]
The beginning of the mission leads to a truck chase, which plays out identically to previous truck chases. Spider-Man must stop two trucks, as well as two escorting cars. Stopping the first truck and one car causes Silver Sable to arrive in her jet, and for more Hammerhead cars to arrive.
While Sable's jet is chasing, Spider-Man must initially stop more cars. Rocket fire from stolen Sable tanks will sometimes leave behind blasts in the air that are deadly for Spider-Man, which can normally be avoided with point launches.
After stopping a few more, drones will attack Sable's jets, which Spider-Man must stop with Web Shooters by pressing in the air. The first few drones are stopped by swinging in as close to the drones as possible, and then shooting. The timing of this can be challenging: shooting too far away from them will cause them to miss, and while Spider-Man is shooting mid-air, he will lose momentum. As such, it is important to get in as close as possible before shooting.
When prompted, latch onto Sable's jets to shoot down the rest of the drones. After latching onto it, this part simply requires shooting as no aiming is needed. From here, Spider-Man will jump off, and simply needs to latch onto the last truck to end the mission. The next, "Humanitarian Aid", is immediately available.
