The Spider-Punk Suit is a suit players may equip in Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man 2. It is part of the "Spidey Suit Pack" pre-order bonus for the game that grants players instant access to three different suits. For players who did not pre-order, the suit is unlocked at level 16, and costs 2 Backpack Tokens, 3 Crime Tokens and 2 Landmark Tokens. It comes with the Rock Out suit power.

Swinging around New York City while this suit is equipped prompts the Just the Facts episode "Spider-Punk" to air. In this episode J. Jonah Jameson lambastes Spider-Man for his atrocious choice of outfit, before beginning to wonder whether there is more than one Spider-Man and this one is a copycat.

Characteristics[]

Appearance[]

The Spider-Punk suit follows the red and blue color scheme with white highlights. Instead of the traditional boots the Spider-Punk suit has sneakers. On the head there are spikes, most likely representing a mohawk. There is no spider insignia on the front, but on the back of his top there is a spider insignia that has the letters "FNSM" standing for Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. The suit has punk rock bracelets and a punk rock belt.

Suit power[]

The Rock Out suit power can blast enemies with a one-two punch, as enemies will be sent skyward from the initial blast, and then be hurled backwards from the continuing waves from Spider-Man's guitar.

Suit styles[]

  • Color 1: Default colorway
  • Color 2: Suit is grey and red. The vest is black and is paired with black sneakers
  • Color 3: The vest and the suit are white and is paired with white sneakers. The colorway resembles Gwen Stacy's suit from the 2018 animated film Into the Spider-Verse and the 2023 sequel Across the Spider-Verse.
  • Color 4: The suit colors are inverted from the 2nd colorway. The vest is black and is paired with black sneakers.

Original appearance[]

The suit is based on the Spider-Man costume donned by Spider-Punk, an alternate version of Hobie Brown who first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man vol. 3 #10.
