Screwball Challenges are citywide activities found throughout the map in The City That Never Sleeps downloadable content for Marvel's Spider-Man.
The challenges feature Screwball, who has started a new show where she sets up several challenges for Spider-Man to complete, lest her fans get angry and begin attacking innocents. Completing the challenges will reward players with various amounts of Challenge Tokens, depending on how they score. They function similarly to Taskmaster Challenges from the base game, with new challenge types added.
Players can first begin these after completing the "Something is Screwy" mission.
Challenge types[]
Screwball Challenges come in five varieties:
- Bomb Challenges
- Combat Challenges
- EMP Challenges
- Gadget Challenges
- Stealth Challenges
These test Spider-Man's web slinging, fighting, and gadget-based combat skills, respectively.
Success in each of the challenges can yield up to 6 Challenge Tokens depending on the final score, which is based on how fast players complete the challenge; achieving a bronze ("Amazing") rating will grant 1 Challenge Token, a silver ("Spectacular") rating will grant 3 Challenge Tokens, and a gold ("Ultimate") rating will grant 6 Challenge Tokens.

Once the player completes all the challenges in "Turf Wars" and "Silver Lining" campaigns, side missions will be unlocked that conclude each campaign's Screwball story.
Season Finale[]
Season Finale is the side mission that is unlocked once the player completes all the challenges in "Turf Wars". Spider-Man locates Screwball's broadcast origin point and decides to put an end to her schemes. It turns out to be an ambush made of Screwball's army of prisoners which Spider-Man has to defeat. The mission is therefore a combat mission in which Spider-Man must defeat all prisoners.
Wrap Party[]
Wrap Party is the side mission that is unlocked once the player completes all the challenges in "Silver Lining". Screwball throws a giant rooftop party for reaching 50 million followers and Spider-Man uses this opportunity to locate her and gives chase.
After arriving at the location of the mission, Spider-Man arrives in the middle of a rooftop party. Finding her crate leads to a chase around New York, in which Spider-Man must chase her across rooftops, getting rid of bombs, completing Photobombs, and shooting down drones along the way. After destroying all drones, Spider-Man can catch her. He then leaves her to the authorities for good.
