Screwball is a side character in Marvel's Spider-Man and its story DLC The City That Never Sleeps. A mentally unstable Internet personality, Screwball uses Spider-Man and criminals to get more hits on her web channel.

History

Early history

Screwball's true identity was unknown in the public however she had adopted her alias by orchestrating challenges for her followers, leading to her to have an unstable mindset on social media.

Marvel's Spider-Man

Screwball was seen in the side mission of Internet Famous, lying to Spider-Man about having a hostage, and ordered him to complete various city-threatening missions. After completely the tasks, while also dealing with Screwball's "followers", Spider-Man discovered it was a trick. Spider-Man defeats more of her followers, and arrests her. Before being taken in, Screwball states that she could not be held responsible as it was her followers that did the damage, to which the police admit that she has a point.
