The Scarlet Spider Suit is a suit players may equip for Peter Parker in Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
In the first game, in can only be unlocked at Level 4, which requires 3 Crime Tokens and 2 Landmark Tokens to be crafted, and comes with the Holo Decoys suit power.
It is the first suit in the Scarlet Spider lineage.

Appearance[]
The Scarlet Spider Suit appears as a more detailed version of Ben Reilly's Scarlet Spider outfit, with more small features than in the comic books. The spider symbol on the chest is made to look smudged, making it appear spray painted. The red suit is also given texture, with areas on the shoulders and legs having a lined surface. The web shooters and belt also have an additional canvas or cloth material, rather than being completely metallic as in the comics.
Suit Power[]
When activated, the Holo Decoys suit power that unlocks with the suit summons a group of holographic clones of Spider-Man in the perimeter of the area using advanced augmented reality technology. While these clones do not fight, they do talk and interact in such a way as to distract foes, causing them to attack the decoys instead of Spider-Man, which will stun them for a few moments.

Original appearance[]
The suit is a reference to Ben Reilly's Scarlet Spider costume that first appeared in Web of Spider-Man #118. In the comic book lore, it was created by Ben Reilly from an all red bodysuit and a hoodie he stole from a nearby market.
