Lab projects, or simply projects, are puzzle minigames in Marvel's Spider-Man. They are of two types, requiring players either to wire electric circuits (called circuit projects) or to find DNA sequences (called spectrograph projects). Following the mission My OTHER Other Job, players can participate in these projects for additional XP and Research Tokens while in Otto Octavius's lab. More projects are added over the course of the main story, along with getting more difficult over time.

Circuit projects

Circuit projects are circuit-based puzzles that require Peter Parker to complete a disconnected circuit by reattaching a few of the available pieces. The goal is to reattach the circuit without expending all available pieces, and to ensure the positive and negative voltage gives the current the required voltage in the end.

There are a total of ten lab circuit projects in the game.

Spectrograph projects

Spectrograph projects are pattern puzzles. These require Peter to analyze a substance, by matching the patterns. To achieve this, Peter has to match a few blocks on screen, and a few pieces that cancel out other blocks, until all blocks match the patterns required.

There are a total of ten lab spectrograph projects.
