The New Blue Suit, also known as New Fantastic Four Suit is a suit players may equip for Peter Parker in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Characteristics[]

The New Blue Suit is heavily inspired by the costumes worn by the Fantastic Four, specifically those from the 2018 storylines of the mainstream comics.

Its overall layout is similar to a standard Spider-Man suit, colored in blue and black and lacking the traditional web pattern. The upper arms are solid black, with no connection from the shoulders to the gloves. The gloves bear a strong resemblance to those on the Upgraded Suit, and the lenses are identical to those on almost all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe suits. The web shooters are white variants of the ones seen on the Classic Suit and the two Advanced Suits.

  • Color 1: Default color scheme.
  • Color 2: Based on the Classic Suit, but with a white spider logo on the back.
  • Color 3: Black and blue segments are inverted, and uses a much darker shade of blue. Based on Amazing Fantasy #1000, where a counterpart of Peter Parker is a full member of the Fantastic Four. Shares the same white logo on the back as Color 2.
  • Color 4: Black-and-white version of Color 2, with a blue spider logo on the back. Possibly a reference to the Negative Suit or Future Foundation Suit.

Original appearance[]

This suit first appeared in Fantastic Four Vol. 6 #21. Sometimes after Fantastic Four returns since their absences between the events of 2015's Secret Wars up to Secret Empire, Peter and James Howlett wears their own current Fantastic Four-theme suits during Empyre event, where the Fantastic Four entrust them to accompany a now grown up Franklin Richards/Powerhouse, Valerie Richards/Brainstorm, the Kree boy Jo-Venn and the Skrull girl N'Kalla.
