Hunt to Live, Live to Hunt is the thirteenth main mission of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, taking place in Williamsburg. Peter Parker and Miles Morales are both contacted by Felicia Hardy who informs them of a Hunter base where Lonnie Lincoln is being held captive.
Story[]
Peter Parker offers to head to the Hunter base on his own, reminding Miles Morales to work on his college acceptance essay. He lets Miles know that he will take care of Martin Li if he encounters him. Miles agrees and tells Peter to keep in touch.
Peter arrives at the base, which is an abandoned foundry with a large group of Hunters surrounding the outer perimeter. Peter receives a call from Harry Osborn, who informs him that Curt Connors is still missing. Peter suggests Harry to ask Mary Jane Watson to check up on Dr. Connors at his house. Learning that Peter is on a mission to rescue Tombstone, Harry offers his assistance, but Peter declines as he doesn't want to risk Harry getting hurt by the Hunters, who are deadly. Peter enters the base and takes down more groups of Hunters. However, Harry ignores Peter's warnings and arrives with much greater control over his powers, also donning a black version of a Spider-Man/military suit hybrid. Harry and Peter take the Hunter base by storm, with Peter abandoning the stealthy approach. During an encounter, Peter and Harry almost fall into a pit of molten lava while pinned by giant debris on a conveyor belt, with the sound of the alarm disorienting Harry and preventing him from moving, revealing the symbiote's weakness to high-frequency sounds.
Eventually the two arrive at the main center room, where they encounter Tombstone imprisoned in a giant cage. Tombstone tells them that the cage is rigged. As they fight off the Hunters, Harry and Peter destroy the support beams holding Tombstone's cage stable. Harry decides to infiltrate the cage via the furnace up top as the Black Suit seems to be fireproof. Harry makes it in the cage, and he and Tombstone attempt to push open the cage while Peter pulls with his webs. Harry envisions himself attempting to push open the container that kept him in stasis as he pushes, which gives him the strength to destroy the cage. Peter and Harry, with Tombstone, escape the foundry as it falls apart.
Tombstone thanks Peter and Harry for rescuing him, exclaiming that he'll be ready for the next time they come for him, and says goodbye. Peter and Harry bond over the experience, and when they attempt to fist bump, the black tendrils seem to attach themselves to Peter. A makeshift Spider logo also seems to have manifested on Harry's suit. Harry prepares to head back to the lab to see if Dr. Connors returned, while Peter stands in amazement over Harry's powers. Afterwards, Miles reaches out to Peter and asks if he needs help with anything, but Peter informs him that he and Harry seems to have things under control. Miles notices that Peter has been telling him they will "talk later" a lot lately.
Walkthrough[]
Upon arriving at the base, you encounter a large group of Hunters that can be dealt with stealthily or directly. Upon entering the base, there will be more encounters with the Hunters, and they all can be dealt with accordingly. After Harry arrives, several more encounters with the Hunters will happen, with Harry fighting by your side and performing team finishers with you. There will be an instance where you must interact with a large vat to take down an armored truck right underneath it.
After arriving in the room where Tombstone is being held, there are more waves of Hunters to fight off, including Brutes. Brutes are larger enemies that cannot be staggered by normal attacks, and cannot be webbed up and thrown without the necessary skill upgrade. Finishers deal massive damage to Brutes, but Brute finishers require 2 Focus bars.
After defeating the last Hunters, a cutscene plays where the duo saves Tombstone and escapes the building before it collapses. The mission ends after the cutscene.
