The Evolved Suit is one of the primary suits used by Miles Morales in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. This is one of the few free suits in the game that is granted via mission progression. Miles appears in this suit towards the final battle against Venom. Its inclusion is part of the game's promotion with Adidas.

Trivia[]

  • This suit is only one to have an official Adidas collab with it.
  • This suit had been widely panned by fans for several reasons:
    • Players lambasted it for being an Adidas advertisement per the sneakers being unchanged in all suit styles. Furthermore, the fact Adidas has shirts and pants styled around the suit is included in this particular critique.
    • Unlike Peter's original Advanced Suit in the first game, the Evolved Suit had no buildup to its creation in the sequel itself. As such, fans saw its first on-screen appearance as less impactful in comparison to the aforementioned Advanced Suit from said first game.
    • Fans proclaim that the suit drastically strays from the iconic color scheme of Miles' Classic and Upgraded Suits.
    • The suit's design has been reviled for being perceivably very busy and cluttered with several elements including:
      • The mask texture being seen as strangely tacky.
      • The hoodie perceived as taking away focus from the suit's webbing detail.
      • The electric blue wrapping around the suit being deemed unusual.
      • The amount of blue deemed to be overshadowing the red and black.
      • The thin electric blue webbing viewed as unorthodox.
    • Fans have noted that Miles is more known for wearing Jordans rather than other shoe brands. This lead them to believe that this change was made for advertising purposes.
    • It has been viewed by some as visually uncanny not only due to the built-in-branding with Adidas, but because the suit's appearance had been deemed to be incompatible with Miles' character arc in the game.
    • The mask is cut on top revealing Miles's hair, which is seen by many as impractical since either his mask could be ripped down to reveal his face or his current new hairstyle can give away his identity.
