The Emily-May Foundation is a startup founded by Harry Osborn named after his mother, Emily, and his best friend Peter Parker's aunt, May. Harry worked alongside Peter to achieve his mother Emily Osborn's dream of finding a way to "heal the world". However, following the destruction of the research center and Harry falling into a coma, the foundation has been reduced to Peter managing it alone within his garage.

History[]

In high school, Harry Osborn and his best friend Peter Parker had plans of starting their own company together to "heal the world". They had set up step to debut at the Young Entrepreneurs convention, but everything was put on hold after Harry's mother, Emily, died.

After Harry began treatment for his illness, Norman Osborn would go onto officially create and fund the foundation as an Oscorp subsidiary, with Harry taking over as CEO upon his recovery and bringing in Peter as Co-CEO. Harry also learns the death of Peter's aunt, May, and the foundation's name are the main reasons to honor her and Emily's passing.

Most of the Foundation was destroyed following an attack by the hunters as well as the Spider-Men's final battle with Venom; however, Peter went on to maintain the foundation, if on a smaller scale, in his garage.

Departments[]

Entomology[]

In the center, Dr. Young manages a study into bees; Danikast claims they were recruited because they are the foremost expert in field. Particularly, they research how they can help find spots for hives and creating drones to kill their predators.

Medical[]

Dr. Curt Connors manages the medical department. Here, his team focus on cloning organs for compatible transplants (therefore eliminating limited donor supply and viability) and finding replacements for x-rays, like proton beams, to lessen radiation exposure.

Agriculture[]

Dr. Foster controls the agriculture section. He focuses on hybridization experiments to create more robust plants that can adapt to harsh environment and multiply into great food bearing numbers. Dr Foster predicted they could end world hunger by 2035.

Energy[]

This department prioritizes finding clean alternatives to solve power crisis; run by Dr. Nguyen. Prospects include creating a safe, non-toxic successor to Nuform, the negative energy used by Inner Demons, and more conventionally using a bike to power up batteries. As Peter's riding experiment showed, the bike batteries risk explosion due to wear from environmental factors.

Ichthyology[]

This department studies Japanese Koi fishes' pigmentation variation for research into enhanced reflectivity.

Astronomy[]

This department studies space and the atmosphere for any toxins or dangers to the environment.

Layout[]

Sub floor[]

This floor is below ground level and is where the Medical and Entomology departments are. A small open area between them holds ponds for the Ichthyology department's research.

First floor[]

The lobby has a reception desk, and four meeting rooms up two separate stairways. Beyond the lobby is the first floor of the research labs and a lounge area.

Second floor[]

This floor is where the particle accelerator is located. Apart from that, it is mostly a lounge area for workers have a break.

Third floor[]

The Agriculture department takes up 45% of the area, with the Energy and Astronomy departments taking up the rest of the space. It is also where the CEO office is located.
