Marvel's Spider-Man[]
Chameleon is one of the few people to be mistaken for another Spider-Man copycat, who later proves to be a normal disciple of Chikara Dojo trying to dress up as a Spider-Man to do heroic deeds, until the real Spider-Man helps him fights off Wilson Fisk's men, who are out for the real Spider-Man's blood in retaliation for Fisk's downfall.

While invading the city, Kraven sets up hidden drones around the city to fish out what he deems "priority targets". The Spider-Men catch wind of this plot and hack each of the drones to figure out who these targets are, however to their surprise, all of the targets' identities are completely misaligned with both each other and what Kraven might potentially want, with some of them even being long dead. After successfully dispatching all of the drones, the final one sends out a relay signal that leads back to a rooftop condominium. At its doors, an active Spider-Man finds a pre-recorded message left by Dmitri that was intended for Kraven, which eventually leads them into a hidden room. There. he finds Chameleon's hideout, where he discovers that Dmitri and Sergei were half-brothers and that he was always aware of his plot to hunt him down. The room is then flooded with poisonous gas, forcing an active Spider-Man to escape before divulging any further into the matter. As he swings away, Dmitri, still in a civilian disguise, offers a toast to his absent half-brother, promising that he will "do what he could not".
