Spider-Man finds himself on the trail of his former partner, cat burglar Felicia Hardy, better known as the Black Cat. Eventually, using information gathered from the various stakeouts that Felicia has set up for him, Spider-Man is able to track the Black Cat back to her lair in hopes of finally catching her. When he arrives, however, Felicia herself is nowhere to be seen. But he does find that she has left for him a gift in the form of a suit that she has made for him.
Unlike in the comic book, the suit’s origin for this game is somehow made different. In original comic book lore, it was created after Peter was resurrected by Mistress Death under a favor from her ex-boyfriend Deadpool, who was hired by someone to kill Peter. Once it is created, Spider-Man dons the suit that reflects his surly demeanor, and began to find Deadpool.

The Dark Suit is a suit players can unlock in Marvel's Spider-Man, the PlayStation 4 video game. Players are rewarded with this suit after tracking down all the Black Cat statues throughout the city, as first introduced in the Stakeout mission.

History

Spider-Man finds himself on the trail of his former partner, cat burglar Felicia Hardy, better known as the Black Cat. Eventually, using information gathered from the various stakeouts that Felicia has set up for him, Spider-Man is able to track the Black Cat back to her lair in hopes of finally catching her. When he arrives, however, Felicia herself is nowhere to be seen. But he does find that she has left for him a gift in the form of a suit that she has made for him.

Characteristics

Based on the non-symbiote black suit that first appeared in Spider-Man/Deadpool #8, the Dark Suit is primarily black in color, with a striking red spider symbol as well as red lenses, evoking a much darker look for Spider-Man than most other suits, and also similar to those of Black Widow at most part, such as having her signature logo. It also features cat claws.

The Dark Suit has no associated suit power by the default. However, the suit’s true associate power is Spider-Bro, much like in its original comic appearance.
