Crimes, also known as street crimes and faction crimes, are citywide activities in Marvel's Spider-Man, available to players after they have completed the mission Keeping the Peace. These are marked on the map with a red exclamation point inside a red and black triangle. Crimes are not part of the main missions or side missions, but do earn players Crime Tokens when completed and are required for district completion. Each crime in the base game involves taking down one of four different enemy types: street thugs, members of the Inner Demons, escaped Ryker's and Raft inmates, and Sable International agents.

In all of these episodes, J. Jonah Jameson will criticize Spider-Man for his failures.
