Follow the Money is the final main mission in "The Heist" downloadable content for Marvel's Spider-Man. Spider-Man and Black Cat team up at a Hammerhead vault near Hell's Kitchen.
Completing this mission rewards the player with the Spider-UK Suit.
Story[]
Mary Jane Watson calls Spider-Man and lets him know she has finished decrypting the laptop, and located a record of Hammerhead's vault near Hell's Kitchen. Spider-Man calls Black Cat to give her the address of the vault, and the two meet up there and take out the Hammerhead guards. Once cleared out, Spider-Man opens the shipping containers and finds that Hammerhead has Sable International weapons.
After battling them, Spider-Man enters the vault only to be trapped in there by Black Cat, as she reveals she never had a son but rather just wanted to take Hammerhead's USB drive. Because she gave Hammerhead fake drives, she now has the wealth of all Maggia families.
As Black Cat as she leaves Spider-Man trapped there, he learns that Hammerhead has a tracker on the drive and has Black Cat's penthouse rigged to blow, no longer caring about the drives and focusing on killing her. Spider-Man tries to save her, though she blows him off when he calls her. Seeing her penthouse explode with her seemingly there, Black Cat is presumed dead. Later, Peter Parker gives Mary Jane Watson an update, suspecting Black Cat may have survived, and Mary Jane tells him he will be a great dad one day.
Walkthrough[]
The mission begins with a required stealth segment. In addition to the usual Perch Takedown and Web Strike Takedown movements, Spider-Man can also use 
to call for a Black Cat Takedown to have Black Cat take out a guard she is targeting when she is close enough.
Black Cat Takedown comes in handy in a few situations when taking out two guards at once; if one guard is watching another one, taking out one while calling Black Cat to take out the other is an effective strategy. Otherwise, strategies are similar to usual stealth segments; distract guards to separate them, and then take them down.
Once the guards are taken out, after a cutscene, open several containers continue the mission. Hammerhead guards then arrive for a combat segment, using stronger weapons. Web Bomb, Suspension Matrix, and Spider-Drones can be used, and it is important to disarm the Hammerhead thugs of their more powerful weapons, especially when rocket launcher guards arrive. Finishers should be saved up for when battling the Gatling gun brutes.
After the combat segment, head into the vault for a brief cutscene. This follows a segment in which Spider-Man must swing to her penthouse. Reaching it leads to a cutscene and closes out the mission.
With the mission complete, it is now possible to complete all side missions from "The Heist". The story is continued in "Turf Wars", with its first mission being "Blindsided".
