The Baxter Building is a building in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which was once a main base of operations for Fisk Tower until Wilson Fisk's arrest in Marvel's Spider-Man. It is located in Hell's Kitchen, New York. The Underground used this building as their main base of operations when it was once abandoned during Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, prior to the Fantastic Four's purchase.
History[]
After Fisk's arrest and the disbandment of the Underground, the Fantastic Four acquires the rights to the building previously owned by Fisk and renames it the Baxter Building. However, a new "Fisk Tower" has been constructed in Midtown, replacing the original.
After obtaining the Anti-Venom Suit from a redeemed Mister Negative, Peter Parker attempts to stop Venom. However, Venom has already assembled a meteorite, transforming three boroughs of New York (primarily Manhattan, with significant impacts in Queens and Brooklyn) into a symbiote hive. In the chaos, Spider-Man rescues civilians trapped on a bus near the Baxter Building from symbiote attackers. Later, he reunites with Miles Morales, who temporarily retreats to build the Evolved Suit.
