The Anti-Ock Suit is a suit players can unlock for Peter Parker in Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man 2. This is one of the few free suits in the game that is granted via mission progression, automatically given to players at the start of Pax in Bello and formally unlocked after completing the game. The suit comes with the Resupply special power.
History[]
Spider-Man donning the Anti-Ock Suit.
After his second encounter with Doctor Octopus, in which he is brutalized by the fallen scientist, Spider-Man realizes that he, as Peter Parker, had helped to design the neural interface allowing Otto to control his new robotic tentacles. Acting quickly, he makes his way to Otto's old lab, and utilizes the materials and lab equipment to help him craft this new suit in order to defeat Otto. The new suit allows Spider-Man to best Doctor Octopus and finally defeat him, but not before the suit is badly damaged during the fight.
Characteristics[]
Appearance[]
Concept art.
The Anti-Ock Suit is an armored version of the Advanced Suit, and shares many similar design traits. It is colored black with yellow highlights, featuring a large yellow spider insignia as well as glowing yellow eye lenses. This color scheme, along with many other design details, mirrors that of Doctor Octopus' tentacles, emphasizing how this suit is designed specifically for fighting him and his robotic limbs. The yellow highlights on the suit glow when the suit is worn at night or in dark areas.
Suit Power[]
When activated, the Resupply power that unlocks with the suit allows Spider-Man to continuously regenerate ammo for his gadgets when used. With good timing, a single use can fully replenish an entire stock of ammo for two different gadgets (not including the standard Web Shooters).
