The Advanced Suit 2.0 is Spider-Man's primary suit in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. It serves as a current upgrade of the original Advanced Suit from Marvel's Spider-Man, and was designed by Insomniac Games. It is Spider-Man's default suit that he crafts and wears for a majority of the game's story.
Peter Parker created this suit in between the events of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 comic. The suit also appears in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which released the same month as the comic and meant to promote the 2023 sequel game's upcoming release date.
Characteristics[]
This suit bears similarities to the original Advanced Suit, albeit with a few differences.
The suit's lenses have a dark gradient around the edges, the colors of the suit are much more vibrant, with the blue segments in particular taking up much more space on the legs. The white carbon fiber hand patches now extend up beyond the wrists, and the spider emblem on the front is now more in line with the red torso segment.
Like the original, it also features a built-in communication system, which can be used to start and receive calls and listen to podcasts during traversal and combat. The suit retains the heads-up display in the lenses, now also featuring augmented reality (AR) technology that displays large holograms to highlight points of interest. This new AR technology is also used to analyze the surrounding environment, and can even reconstruct a crime scene to visualize what happened with enough data. It also retains the ability to examine and identify individual chemicals and compounds.
Two brand-new features are also added to this suit: Web Wings and Spider-Arms.
The Web Wings enable Spider-Man to glide at high speeds as a quick means of traversal. Gliding speed can be increased by wind tunnels found in the environment.
The Spider-Arms, developed using research from Otto Octavius, are utilized in various combat scenarios, such as Parrying attacks, performing Finishers, Spider Dash and Spider Jump moves, and using new skills. These arms are strong enough to tear through Kraven's Talon drones and lift large chunks of debris. Each arm also features a glowing blue tip that can fire electrified webs
The arms are also capable of harnessing Miles' Venom Power to fire massive blasts of electricity, as seen during the opening battle against Sandman.

Suit styles
- Color 1: The default color scheme.
- Color 2: The reds are less vibrant and the blues are replaced with black, resembling Earth-51838 Peter's Advanced Suit.
- Color 3: The blues and reds are inverted, resembling Web-Man.
- Color 4: The reds and the light blues are replaced with an orange-yellow color and the dark blues are replaced by white.
